Investa Fiesta launches with a Boom
KINGSTON, JA – Boom Networking transformed the Jamaican social scene on the night of December 11th with their introduction of a totally new concept in the “Investa Fiesta”. Over six hundred specially invited guests experienced this new concept which involved the simulation of a “stock market” at the bar, with drink prices fluctuating with supply and demand. The crowd paid close attention to the massive screens behind the bar to track the prices of their favorite drinks, and were always on the lookout for a “market crash”, when all prices fell to their lowest values.
The Poison girls mingled and partied with the vibrant crowd and brought a true “Trini flavour” to this inaugural event held by a new group of event planners called Boom Networking. André Bello, a Director of Boom, describes the company as seeking to bring “intelligent entertainment” to the Caribbean, while providing a fun environment for business professionals and entrepreneurs to mingle and exchange ideas.
“This first event was a great success… and we measure success purely by the positive feedback from our guests, and the satisfaction of our corporate partners,” said Bello. Corporate partners for “Investa Fiesta” included ScotiaBank, TGIF, Appleton V/X, Benson & Hedges, Blackberry, Red Bull and My Jamaica Escapes.
